Calvin Joseph Billeaud

Calvin Joseph Billeaud, 67, of Bridge City, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at his residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City with Reverend Jim McClintock, pastor, serving as celebrant.
The Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Visitation will begin at Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 6:30 p.m. and the Christian Vigil service at 7:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.
Born in Port Arthur on April 30, 1941, Mr. Billeaud was the son of Walter Joseph and Rose Mae Mouton Billeaud.
He retired after 40 years from James River/Print Pak.
He served in the Army National Guard and the Merchant Marines; was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, where he served as an usher; and he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3406 and the Legion of Mary.
Mr. Billeaud was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rose Billeaud; brothers, Gary Billeaud, Charles Billeaud; and sister, Janet Grayson.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Billeaud of Bridge City; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Eddie Laughlin, Kara Janel and Matthew Dickey, all of Orange; sons, Gregory Billeaud of Groves, Christopher Billeaud of Bridge City; grandchildren, Paige Laughlin, Blake Laughlin and Jacob Quentin Billeaud.
Also surviving is his sister, Nancy Rae Billeaud of Ledbetter; and brothers, Richard Wayne Billeaud of Colorado Springs, Colorado and David Gene Billeaud and his wife, Anna, of Houston.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy LeBlanc, James Stone, Matthew Dickey, Eddie Laughlin, Gordon Hutson, Dale Thibodeaux, Len Hartman and John Thibodeaux.
For those who wish, memorials may be directed to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
