So sorry to hear of Carl's passing! Worked with him at Sabine Sta. for 18 years and always enjoyed his joking and good natured fun. He was always a true biker in that he rode every chance he had and truly enjoyed it!

"Life is Not About Waiting for the Storms to Pass It's About Learning to Dance in the Rain" And my cousin Carl had learned to dance in the rain. He traveled to the beat of his own drum, one of a kind. He had a quick and strong temper, but could balance that with a kind and gentle side. He passed in a manner he did not choose, given a choice he would have left going full speed on his bike with a beer in his hand. My thoughts are with his extended family and friends. When I talked to him last Friday, I told him it's been a tough but good ride and I'd catch him down the road. Rest in Peace Carl Your cousin Charles Edward Gideon

As his coworker, I got to know Carl in 1984 when I transferred to Sabine Power Plant in Bridge City, from Neches Power Plant in Beaumont. Being around Carl was always “interesting”. He was always fun to be around and I learned that deep down inside he was one of kindest and friendliest persons you’d ever want to meet. God bless his family, and may Carl continue to bring laughter to his heavenly family.
