Carl Bradey Snipes, 57, of Orange, passed away on November 11, 2017, in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
A visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on March 18, 1960, he was the son of Cleo Snipes and Jessie (Robertson) Snipes. Carl worked as a supervisor for PBC for 7 years. He loved to work, barbeque, and spend time with his family in and around his pool. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Scott Snipes.
He is survived by his significant other, Lisa Steiner of Orange, TX; daughter, Ashley Ply and husband, Justin, of Bridge City, TX; nieces and nephews, Sabrina Snipes, Nicole Snipes, Justin Snipes, Jonathon Snipes, and Bryan Snipes; grandsons, Brody Lonion and Kaden Ply; and siblings, Glenn Snipes and wife, Liisa, and Frank Snipes, all of Orange, TX.
Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Stone, Justin Ply, Justin Snipes, Nicholas Boyle, and Justin Sonnier.
Funeral services are pending.

My heart is breaking. My prayers and love go out to the family. I have known Carl for 29 years, we have a beautiful daughter together. I can honestly say he was a good man with a very very kind and big heart. We had always been friends and always had love for each other. Carl I wish you could have stayed around longer for everyone you were taken to soon you will always be in my heart. And our daughter has your heart so big she loves you very much, and she will miss you very much R.I.P. Carl and you will never be forgotten and you will always be missed. Love you always
