Carol Ann Bishop - Claybar-Funeral-Home

Carol Ann Bishop, 83, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 1, 2026.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will take place on Thursday January 8, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church in West Orange with Reverends David Milner and Jeff Bell officiating.

Carol was born on April 29, 1942, in Orange, Texas, to Arthur Carrol Bishop and Lois Myers Bishop. After the death of her husband, Charles Griffith, Carol moved to the Houston and Webster areas, where she spent several years. Following the passing of her mother, she returned to Orange, the place she had always called home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Griffith; and her brother, Kirk A. Bishop.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Casandra Bishop; as well as several cousins, nephew Patrick Bishop, niece Genné Bishop and family, and nephew Karl Bishop and family.
