Carol Denise Gibson-Long, 55, of Orange, passed away on February 9, 2017, in Orange.

Born in Starks, Louisiana, on September 13, 1961, she was the daughter of John Andrew Gibson and Gloria Kurtz.

She was preceded in death by her father; and her brother, John Brannon Gibson.

She is survived by her mother, Gloria Gladeen Worthington; children, John Brayton Gibson and wife Katya, and Trey Weston Gibson and wife Destinie Archer; grandchildren, Harlynn, Lyla, and Allison Gibson; niece, Randa Lanae Lockwood; nephew, Mark Dustin Brock; and sister, Terrie Lynn Sellers.

Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
