Carole June Morgan-Hutson, 75, of Orange, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Sue Cleveland officiating. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Born in Edinburg, Texas on June 1, 1934, Carole was the daughter of Arthur Lee Jolly and Gladys Ruth Smith. She was an Engineer Tech IV Record Keeper for the Department of Public Transportation. She was an artist and a member of the Beaumont Art League. Carole was also a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Beaumont.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John R. Morgan and Charles E. Hutson; and grandson, Jacob Shawn Davis.
Carole is survived by her daughters, Dianna Kay Porter and her husband, Mark of Nacogdoches and Patty Morgan Finley and her husband Lester of Vidor; sons, Matthew Montgomery Morgan and his wife, Terri of Orange and James Richard Morgan and his wife, Gail of Austin.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Tammy Leger, Zachariah Murphy, Christy LaCour, John Allen III, J.R. Morgan, Chris Morgan, Derek Stark and Lacie Morgan; ten great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
