Carrie Evelyn Stone, 85, longtime resident of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 14, 2020, in Orange.
She was born in Cobleskill, New York, on February 16, 1935. Carrie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her grandsons. Carrie loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time at the lake. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Walter Beacraft, Arthur Beacraft, and Shorty Beacraft; her sister, Jenny Beacraft; and infant sister, Beverly Beacraft.
She is survived by her son, Alfred “Ray” Bearden, Jr. or Orange; her daughter-in-law, Melissa Bearden of Orange; her grandchildren, John Robert Palmer Bearden, Jr. of Orange and Tommy Craig, Jr. of Orange; her brother, Leslie Beacraft; as well her numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
