Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on May 2, 1944, she was the daughter of Carroll Plessala and Eve Vaughn Plessala. Faye was a woman of faith and a devout Catholic. Her grandchildren were her world. She loved her family more than anything, and her family lovingly dubbed her Hawkette and her husband as Hawk. She was a kindhearted and selfless woman, always putting the needs of others before herself. Faye loved music, singing, and dancing and was known as “mom” to all her children’s friends. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and she will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thaddeus Bellanger; her parents, Carroll and Eve Plessala; her son, Troy Bellanger; her brothers, Lynn Plessala, Sonny Plessala, Dickie Plessala, and Michael Plessala; and her sisters, Cindy Rodriguez, and Peggy Plessala.
