Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania on August 15, 1920, Cecelia was the daughter of Kazimer and Antonia (Rosypal) Kleinot. She was reared in Point Pleasant, Pennsylvania during the depression. She worked as a riveter during WWII. She went on to hold many different jobs during her life including sewing baby swings, making parts for light fixtures and waitressing.
After her retirement, she and her husband Ed, traveled the world and finally settled in Florida. She moved to Alabama for a year before moving to Orange in 2005, just in time to experience Hurricane Rita. She was a master quilter and also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. It is said her thumb was so green she could plant a dead stick and it would grow. She loved flowers and animals. She was a member of the Audubon Society and Wesley United Methodist Church in Orange.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; daughter, Toni Wilkins; brothers, Henry and Kazimer Kleinot and sisters, Veronica Geddes and Mollie Winterstein.
Those left who will cherish her memory are her sister, Julia Teates; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jim Ramsden and grandchildren, Matt Wilkins, Jennifer Baldwin and Michelle Zbylut.
The family wishes to express their grateful appreciation to Carlton and Tish, Barbara, Ron and Liz, and our pastor, Randy Branch, for their love and support. We also want to express our gratitude to Harbor Hospice, LaDawn, Crystal and Ebony, for their love and gentle care of Cecelia.
