Born in Crowley, Louisiana, on December 25, 1946, he was the son of Joe Bellard and Hazel (Morgan) Bellard. Bill served bravely in the United States Army. He was a true cowboy through and through and enjoyed riding horses and fishing. Bill was a wonderful family man, and an outstanding “Pawpaw” to his grandchildren who were the lights of his life. He loved traveling with his family, especially to New Braunfels, Texas and Branson, Missouri, taking special interest in sceneries with mountains. Bill cherished spending time listening to country and gospel music and being surrounded by his family. He worked construction for the same company for over 40 years, where he grew strong bonds with his co-workers with whom he considered family. He will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Hazel Bellard; and sister, Marie Elaine Rohling.
