Charles and I were first cousins born one month apart; our moms were sisters. Our childhoods and all the way through high school we were best buddies. We were both named after our granddad, Charlie Miller. My middle name is Charlene; cand he’s obviously Charles. We played marbles, baseball, hurdled benches in the park, double dated, and had many mutual lifelong friends. He was very intelligent, reserved, and a true child of God. Our loss was Heaven’s gain. I especially loved to hear him speak about his wife, daughter, and grandchildren. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this sad time. Love and hugs from Cousin Katie.

The memory of Uncle Charlie I would like to share has to do with our extended family get togethers. Picking up and moving to Texas was not easy for me because I didn't really know anyone here very well. From the first day I met him at family events he acted like he had known me all my life. He was the one person that went out of his way to speak with me and make me feel part of the family every single time we got together. I will never forget that... he will be missed greatly.
