Charles was my bonus Daddy. He married my Mom when I was 8. He raised my sister, my 2 brothers and me along side his 2 sons, and daughter. We blended and blended well! He treated us all the same and made us work hard and we played even harder! I begged to go hunting and fishing with him like obe if the boys instead of shopping with the girls on our Saturday outings! He took me.....but forgot I was just a girl...and made me stay until he was ready to leave. I also wanted to play cards for money with him. I lost...lost big.and he kept my money $ I couldn't believe it..... Oneday months later he called me up to the bar and the same exact bills and coins was laid out......he talked to me about gambling and how I should need expect to win... never lay money down unless you have extra to lose. He was goid and never list..so he didn't understand I'm sure. He was a hard worker and could do anything.... he had his ways and couldn't be changed ..but in the end.....it came out being very well planned. He only went to school until he was 13....but he helped all 7 of us with our homework. I can go on and on. I loved him and he loved me. He was my security.
