Robert Moxley, Jr., 72, of Orange, went to be with Jesus surrounded by his family on November 27, 2020, at home.
A funeral service will be 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Story.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Ocala, Florida, on June 8, 1948, he was the son of Charles Robert Moxley, Sr. and Francis (Jordan) Moxley. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he navigated B-52s. He attended the University of Florida and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business and also attended Seminary at Oral Roberts University. Robert worked for the IRS and later moved to Orange in 1993 to work as an accountant for Craft Oil. He was a member of Orange “Camp Gideon” of Gideon International and after retirement substituted for Little Cypress Mauriceville school district for 7 years. Robert was a devout Christian and attended Wesley United Methodist Church, Community Church and Family Worship Center for many years. He loved his pets, working in his garden, and especially being “PawPaw Robert” to Miracle. Robert left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Francis Moxley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Troye Moxley; and Miracle Cole who was like a granddaughter, sister, Jeanie Ragusa and husband Joe of Ocala, Florida; aunt, Jessy Schofield of Trenton, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
