Charles David Pirtle, 83, of Hammond-Hessville, IN, passed away of September 18, 2021.
Born August 14, 1938. He was an avid fisherman, in which was his hobby that he loved and enjoyed. He worked at Bethlehem Steel and Harris Farms for many years.
Preceded in death by beloved wife, Dorothy; loving daughter, Julie Long; loving son, Jerry Hughes; and fond brothers Shelby and Billy Pirtle.
He is survived by loving sons, Timothy (Jaime) Pirtle, Charles (Charlene) Pirtle, Jr., Mike Hughes; loving daughters Karen (Ron) Redkeyl adoring sister, Marta Drummond; numerous grandchildren, Holly Williams, Olivia Basinger, Keaton Hughes, Loren Hughes, and many others in Indiana. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
According to Charles’ wishes there were to be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
