Christina “Kim” Jinks, 52, of Orange, passed away on July 2, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Old First Orange Baptist Church in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Royal. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on October 18, 1968, she was the daughter of Nolan Jay Foreman and Peggy Jo Foreman (Nation). Kim graduated from Orangefield High School and then attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where she majored in theater arts. After graduating from Harding University she then attended court reporting school in Alvin, Texas. Kim was a loving mother and grandmother that enjoyed spending every chance she had with her grandson. She also enjoyed bird watching, cooking, and was always able to find happiness in the small things. Kim was a dedicated disciple of Christ and encouraged others to be also. She was a beloved volunteer at the Lutcher Theater. Kim was the most kind and thoughtful person you could meet, and would always find the perfect gift for someone. Kim’s moto in life was “Choose Joy”, and joy is exactly what she brought into everyone’s lives. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Jo Foreman (Nation).
She is survived by her father, Nolan Foreman; sons, Kade Foreman of Buna and Luke Jinks of Orange; grandchild, Karson Foreman; sister, Stacy Ratcliff (Donny) of Orange; nieces, Christina Fenner (Jarod), Emily Daigle (Nick), And Ashton Bacon (Byron); great nieces and nephews, Colt Fenner, Layken Fenner, Savanna Fenner, Clara and Adelaide Daigle; cousin, Debbie Higgins; and former spouse, Eric Jinks.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jarod Fenner, Nick Daigle, Byron Bacon, Tyler Ladner, Dallas Brantley, and Steven Stone.
