Christine Colunga Patxot

Christine Colunga Patxot, 61, of Port Arthur, passed away unexpectedly January 15, 2014. She was born November 25, 1952 to Johnny Colunga, Sr. and Maria Peralez Colunga. Christine was a cook but was not working at the time of her death.
She was devoted to her family, especially to her grandchildren and step-grandchildren. When she did have time away she loved playing bingo and playing the “penny slots”. Of course if the New Orleans Saints were playing that’s where you could find her, watching them on television.
Christine is survived by her daughters, Christine Patxot and Charlene Crowe; step-daughter, Angelica Patxot; grandchildren, Manuel Hernandez, Sammy Moreno, Angel Pompa, Christian Matthews, Alicia Renee Martinez; great-grand-daughter, Marilen Hernandez; step-grandchildren, Kevin Laday, Kade Laday, A. J. Patxot, Joshua Patxot; brothers Johnny Colunga,Jr., Eddie Colunga; and sister, Clarissa Kedoritz. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Daniel Colunga and sister, Romaine Colunga.
A memorial service celebrating Christine’s life will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at:3:00 pm at The First Church of the Nazarene, 4004 Memorial Blvd., Port Arthur, TX.
