Clara Lopez, 77, of Orange, died Thursday, April, 1, 2010, at Baptist Orange Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Revered Tom Phelan officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas on August 12, 1932, Clara was the daughter of John and Augustina Pachuca Lopez. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Clara retired in 1997 after 47 years working at Sabine Title Company. She was a loving and caring person who would help others before herself. Clara will be missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Carmen Lopez and Ann Gilstrap; and brothers, Mike, Abe and Gilbert Lopez.
Clara is survived by her sister, Rose Lopez of Orange; brothers, Manuel, Marcelino and Roger Lopez of Orange, Fred Lopez of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Tony and Ben Lopez of Colorado; special niece who cared for her, Selah Benton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kennie Gilstrap, Craig Gilstrap and Raymond Reider, Jr.
