Clara LeBleu Murphy, 82, of Orange, passed away on May 13, 2021, in Port Arthur.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on January 27, 1939, she was the daughter of Edgar LeBleu and Willie May LeBleu. Clara was a lifelong member of the Orange Boat Club where she regularly enjoyed participating in events. She loved helping out any chance she could get and loved cooking. Clara was a wonderful “Mawmaw” and “Nana” and took great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her fur-baby and Cocker Spaniel, Lady Jo. Clara will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Willie May LeBleu; brother, Vernon LeBleu; and sisters, Pearl Dixon and Leonna Huton.
She is survived by her son, Kurviest Murphy and wife Vicky of Orange; grandchildren, Alana Elmore, Shontel Sonnier and fiancé James Smith and James (Bubba) Sonnier III and fiancé Brittany Gonzales all of Orange; great-grandchildren, JoJo, Zoey and Braxton, all of Orange; brother, Edgar LeBleu, Jr. of Orange; and close niece, Linda Allen of Dallas; along with numerous other loving nieces and nephews.
