Clarence Joseph “Joey” Duhon, Jr., 67, of Orange, Texas, passed away on December 9, 2023, at his home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on February 14, 1956, he was the son of Clarence Duhon, Sr. and Dolores Free Duhon. Joey was married to the love of his life, Beverly, for 48 years. Family was the most important thing to him. He loved having family time whenever he could. He absolutely adored his grandchildren. Joey was also a care group leader for many years. In his down time, he enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, and playing chess. Joey will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Dolores Duhon; his sister, Geriann Duhon; and his brother, Stuart Duhon.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Duhon; his children, Sarah Briggs and husband, Joshua, and Erik Duhon and wife, Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Gavin Briggs, Annalise Briggs, Harley Duhon, and Scarlett Duhon; and his sister, Jacqui Duhon.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
At this time, there will be no services.
