Dear John, Ashlee, and Tyler, It has been so long since I have seen any of you, but my heart goes out to you on Claudia's passing. As I look back on my years growing up, I always remember Claudia as someone who always made the love of Christ known in word and deed. Her hospitality was legendary in our community, and she truly lived her faith in all areas of life. Her love for her family and kindness to friends was known to all. I pray that our Lord comforts you during this time with His promise that all who believe in Christ will not die eternally but will be raised again when the One who died and rose for us returns and raises us through the power of His resurrection. God's peace now and always, Pastor Joshua Miller

Ashlee, I remember meeting you in high school and instantly becoming friends. We used to joke about how strict your mom was not letting you wear a 2 piece swim suit or watch rated R movies! The truth was, she embodied Christ and only wanted the best for her children. While her mama bear was fierce, so was her desire to watch you grow - and she did just that - from high school to A&M to law school to being a mom. What a precious gift to see both of her children grow up to be great people with beautiful children. So much of her is in you now and will be passed along through future generations because love never dies.

John and family, Rose, Andy and Clarice, we are thankful to know Claudia is now resting peacefully in the arms of her Lord, but she will be missed by so many! She was a true witness for Jesus as far back as our school days long, long ago. The spirit of Jesus shone brightly in her wherever she went! May you all draw close to the Lord right now and allow Him to pour out upon each of you His blessings of peace, comfort, strength, and Grace. With love and prayers for you all,
Mike and Donna Sammons
