Clelita Chatelain, 89, of Bridge City, Texas, died Monday, March 2, 2009.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Friday, March 6, 2009, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Steve Leger. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm.
Clelita was born on September 24, 1919, in Scott, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Alexis and Inez Degeyter Stelly. Clelita loved to bake, crochet and sew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Boudreaux; second husband, Stanley Chatelain; daughter, Delnora Burge; brothers, Levin Stelly and Melvin Stelly; and sister, Verlmae Granger.
Those left to cherish her memory are son and daughter-in-law, Linwood and Anna Boudreaux of Liberty; son-in-law, Robert Burge of Bridge City; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; twelve great great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Ivy; and brothers, Elvin Stelly, Lee Stelly and Harold Stelly.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Christopher Burge, Wayne Burge, Ricky Burge, Lin "Bubba" Boudreaux, II, Kyle Boudreaux and Kaleb Boudreaux.
