Clifford Marie Johnson Ener, 89, of Beaumont, passed away on January 4, 2018, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehab in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 11:00am, Saturday, January 13, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Beaumont. Officiating will be Reverend Larry Walker. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont.
Visitation will begin an hour prior to the start of the service.
Born, on August 15, 1928, she was the daughter of Clifford E. and Maude Owens Johnson. Clifford was a member of the Lady’s Soroptimist Club. She worked extensively at First Baptist Church and was very literate in scripture. She was a very active volunteer at Baptist Hospital for many years and had worked with her husband as his office manager, since 1958, at his Farmers Insurance office.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Dwain Ener and her parents, Clifford and Maude Johnson.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Ener Garrett and her husband, Lee Roy of Beaumont and Debbie Richmond Harris and her husband, Robert of Lumberton; grandchildren, Jay Trent Garrett, Dwain Cody Richmond and his wife, Shephanie; and Jennifer Salyer and her husband, Brad; great-grandchildren, Cal Garrett, Camp Garrett, Seth Yawn, Hunter Richmond, Kanon Salyer, Gunnar Salyer, Magnum Salyer, Remington Salyer, Colt Salyer, Warrior Salyer, Bianca Salyer, and Thunder Salyer; sister, Nell Hughes of Lewisville; and several cousins and extended family.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Richmond, Jay Garrett, Cal Garrett, Seth Yawn, Hunter Richmond, and Camp Garrett. Honorary pallbearer is Ron Schroeder.
