Clint Blackwell, 45, of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home in Webster, Texas, on June 9, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Clint was born in Orange, Texas, on May 6, 1980. He was the son of William “Bill” and Barbara Blackwell. Clint graduated from Orangefield High School and then went on to graduate from McNeese University. Since he was young, he always wanted to be a cowboy! Clint has a strong connection to his roots, having participated in rodeo activities during his time at McNeese, where he excelled in saddle bronc riding and team roping. His love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies; he enjoyed spending time fishing and riding horses. As he got older, he enjoyed working cattle with his dad and the cattle crew.
He was known to his fellow workers and friends as a dedicated and skilled worker. Clint was a valuable employee at H&M Mechanical Constructors where he would oversee, and coordinate activities related to material management. He was an expert in material management software systems. His career led him to work all over the world. Clint approached every task with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Clint was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orangefield, where he first learned to cherish his relationship with the Lord. His faith and salvation held significant meaning in his life. Clint’s spirit, dedication, and faith will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, J.C. and Opal Blackwell and Tyrus and Eloise Stewart. He is survived by his parents, William and Barbara Blackwell; sister, Laura Allen and husband Chris, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and other loving family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Terrell Steiner, Chris Allen, Ronnie Stewart, Joseph Blackwell, Lee Harris, and Bubba Harris. Honorary pallbearer Terry Baker.
