Clois L. Thibodeaux, 63, of Bridge City, passed away on August 9, 2020, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on October 24, 1956, she was the daughter of William Kemp and Helen (Carlin) Kemp. Clois enjoyed reading and watching Jeopardy. She will forever be remembered for her big heart and her amazing cooking. Clois was a wonderful mother, but an even better grandmother, often babysitting her grandchildren and providing them with all the love and warmth she had to give. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Kemp; husband, Otis “Pappy” Thibodeaux, and sister, Callie Owens.
She is survived by her children, Stacey Morgan and husband Frank of Orange, and Eric Thibodeaux of Bridge City; grandchildren, Katelyn Morgan, Cale Morgan, Victoria Edgerton, Arian Thibodeaux, and Kane LeBlanc; siblings, Dewey Kemp and wife Jackie of Victoria, Kayla Kemp of Beaumont, and Dale Kemp and wife Sherry of Port Neches; and daughter-in-law, Heather Thibodeaux of Houston.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cale Morgan, Frank Morgan, Trent Guidry, Jeff Wyatt, Dewey Kemp, Colton Love, and Dale Kemp.
