Clorine Marie Benoit Guidry

Clorine Marie Benoit Guidry passed away on September 30, 2012 in Orange at the Orange Villa surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Brother Rob Tibbitts of Crossroads Baptist Church in Vinton, LA. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home in Bridge City.

Clorine was born on October 2, 1926 in Breaux Bridge, LA to Gaulbert and Annie Serett Benoit. She lived most of her life in Bridge City. Clorine loved her family and loved to cook for them. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going shopping at Wal-Mart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dewey Benoit; her husband, Delore Guidry and two grandchildren, James Guidry and Kylah Mahon.

Clorine is survived by her nine children, Priscilla Babb and husband, Conny, Wanda Cross, Diana Malone and husband, Thomas, Marion Mahon and husband, Milton, Kenneth Guidry and wife, Elizabeth, Harry, Larry and Delore, Jr. and Robert. Clorine was blessed with 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mildred Benoit of Breaux Bridge and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to all the nurses and CNA's at Orange Villa and The Meadows and the doctors and nurses and staff from Odyssey Hospice for all the love and care and comfort provided to Clorine. Their expert support was much appreciated.
