Coby Lynn Granger

Coby Lynn Granger 39 of Orangefield Texas, went to be with His Lord and Savior September 4th, 2024, at his home on Granger Lane.

Coby Lynn was born on May 31, 1985, in Orange, Texas, his parents are Thomas and Peggy Granger. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Deana Hardy Granger, his brother, Thomas “Little Tommy” Granger, his paternal grandparents Thomas and Sarah Granger, his maternal grandparents Tommy and Janice Hardy, grandfather Lynn Sherman and his Uncle Tommy Sherman 

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Claybar in Bridge City, with the burial to follow at the Granger Cemetery in Vidor Texas, where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved mother Deana and his little brother “Little Tommy”. A visitation will begin prior to the service at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents: Thomas & Peggy Granger, his siblings: J.R. and wife Lisa Granger, Shane, Slade & Sage Granger, Tara and husband Jason Lanphar, Curt and wife Lauren Edgerton, Cody and wife Shelly Edgerton. Nieces & nephews: Josh & Aislee Granger, Bryce Stanley and fiancé “G” Allen, Sean & wife Kaitlyn Edgerton, Jaislyn Lanphar, Kate Edgerton. Many cherished aunts, uncles & cousins

Coby attended Orangefield High School. He worshipped at the Orangefield United Pentecost Church. He loved His Lord and Savior and would talk scriptures to anyone that would listen Coby was always ready for a trip to Taco Bell for bean burritos. 

Pallbearers honoring Coby will be J.R. Granger, Shane Granger, Slade Granger, Cody Edgerton, Sean Edgerton, and his life-long friend, Jensen Ritter.

Honorary Pallbearers are Terry Sherman & Kerry Gene Godeaux.
