Connie Lee Rougeau
Connie Lee Rougeau, 63, passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2014 in Vidor, Texas.

Born in Seattle, Washington, Connie lived a young life in Shreveport Louisiana moving to the Mauriceville area in the early 70’s. She enjoyed casino’s, reading and had creative talents unlike her children. She was a superb cook holiday meals were always enjoyed at Connie’s home. She loved Dobermans and had several throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother Estelle Newton, father, Oren Newton daughter, Tiffany Rougeau.

Survives her are daughter Tina Grogan and husband Jim Grogan of Ohio, son Travis Flowers, wife Debra of Florida, son Troy Rougeau, wife Hollie, son Trenton Rougueau, wife Jennifer of Abeliene Texas, and daughter Teather Honkomp, husband Oliver James, brothers Chris Newton of Arkansas and Clayton Newton of Louisiana. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson, who all adored her.

Cremation was held under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City.

Connie came into our lives and brightened our lives, she was a very hard worker. There was no task she couldn't handle. She loved going to the casinos which was one of our favorite past times. Connie will be greatly missed, but will always be in our hearts. We love you and will miss you dearly.
