Corey James Griffith, 34, passed away on January 30, 2023, in Mississippi.

Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Chaplain Tom Rhodes.

Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in San Diego, California, on July 29, 1988, he was the son of Timothy Griffith and Sherikay Griffith. Corey was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. Corey worked as a Port Engineer and Marine Electrician for most of his adult life. He was the kind of person that left an impression on anyone he met. I don't believe he ever met a stranger. Corey was smart, funny, generous and always tried to help others. Corey always left a person wanting more, more time, more visits, more laughs and we are just heartbroken and devastated. Our beautiful son left this world way too soon. We appreciate all the kind and loving words about Corey. He was such a loving man with his whole life ahead of him.

He is survived by his parents, Timothy Griffith and Sherikay Griffith; son, Logan James Griffith; siblings, Lisette Griffith, Jorden Griffith, Jenson Griffith, Dustin Griffith, Storie Griffith, and Lariaha Griffith; as well as many other loving family and friends.
