Ma Crispina Hernández, 81, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on August 14, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Orange, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor José Alvaro Sánchez of Casa de Alabanza. Burial will follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Agua De Gamotes, Rayón, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on December 5, 1938, she was the daughter of Delfino Rico De La Cruz and Juana Flores Salinas. Crispina spent her life dedicated to taking care of her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, and “Mami Pina” to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Crispina was a faithful member of her church. She loved volunteering and attending services with her family and church family. Her joyful and playful personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delfino Rico De La Cruz and Juana Flores Salinas; and her beloved husband, Ildefonso Hernández Hernández; her daughter, Yolanda Hernández Hernández; as well as two young children.

She is survived by her children, Monica De La Cruz Rico, Ofelia Garza Hernández, Hipolito Hernández Rico, Arnulfa De La Fuente Hernández, Eleuterio Hernández Rico, Ma De Lourdes Hernández Rico, and Consuelo Hernández Rico.
