D.M. "Dee" Hebert

September 9, 1928 — May 24, 2016

D.M. “Dee” Hebert, Jr., 87, of Beaumont passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at his residence. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont with Pastor Rick White officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dee was born September 9, 1928 in Beaumont, Texas to D.M. and Jessie Hebert. He served in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Navy and worked for Exxon for 36 years. Dee loved golfing, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

Dee is survived by his wife, Billie Hebert; son, Marty Hebert and wife, Catherine of Mauriceville; daughter, Suzanne Graham and husband, Rick of Mauriceville; four grandchildren, Michelle Silverio and husband, Genaro of Mauriceville; Martin Hebert of Beaumont; Nicholas Graham and wife, Jessica of Mauriceville, Chelsea Wheatley and husband, Jeffrey of League City; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
