Dale Edward Forse, 63, of Orange, Texas, passed away on December 25, 2023, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Green. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

He was born on March 28, 1960, in Port Arthur, Texas, to his loving parents William and Miriam Forse. Throughout his life, Dale found fulfillment through his career and cherished hobbies. He spent many years as a self-employed owner and operator before joining J.V. Industrial Companies as a Bundle Extraction Manager for the past 15 years. Dale's dedication and hard work were evident in everything he did. Outside of work, Dale embraced various passions that brought him immense joy. He found solace in nature and had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. Whether it was hunting, fishing, camping, boating or woodworking, Dale thrived when surrounded by nature's beauty. Additionally, he had a particular fondness for antique cars and was the proud owner of a '67 Camaro. In his downtime, you could often find him engrossed in watching old westerns, appreciating their rich storytelling and timeless characters. He was an active member of St. Paul Methodist Church, additionally, Dale was an esteemed Mason - part of the 1345 Blue Lodge in Bridge City - as well as a 32nd Degree Member of Galveston Valley of Scottish Rite Freemasonry. His commitment to these organizations showcased his dedication to serving others and nurturing meaningful connections within the community. In addition to his professional and personal pursuits, family meant the world to Dale. He shared a deep love and connection with his wife Connie Forse for many years. The bond they shared was unbreakable, built on trust and mutual respect. Dale's warm and loving personality endeared him to all who knew him and he had an immense love for his family and was often seen spoiling his grandchildren with affection. His pride in his family knew no bounds. Dale's warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Dale leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and perseverance that will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Williams and Miriam Forse; father-in-law, James Reeh; and nephews, Michael and James Reeh.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Connie Forse; children, Kristen Freeman and husband, Bubba, Keith McCurry and his wife Amanda, and Jamie Smith and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Bailey McCurry and husband, Jacob, Brandon Freeman, Scarlett McCurry, Stetson McCurry; Mckensie Ledoux, Marek Lloyd, Abby Smith; Haley Waldrep husband, Gary, Juston Freeman and wife, Krys; great-grandchildren, Rydley, Evetta, Emersyn, and the awaited arrival of baby Moore; mother-in-law, Beverly Reeh; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Godchaux, Newton Monk, Reese Forse, Logan Forse, Jerome Monk, and Ray Hilton. Honorary pallbearers are Herman Dupuis and Jimmie Williams.

The family would like to say a special thank you to his doctors, Dr. Waheeda Mithani, Dr. Srinivas Kodali, and staff at Texas Oncology, staff at Gentiva Hospice, nurses Donna Yoder and April Kessinger, and a very special thank you to Sharon Fontenot who took very good care of him and became a great friend.
