Darla Jean Wright
Darla Jean Wright, 68, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 30, 2017, in Beaumont, Texas.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Orange, Texas, on July 13, 1948, Darla was the daughter of Robert Harvey Wallace and Imogene Marie (Clinton) Wallace. She was very proud of her Native American heritage and loved nature. She enjoyed spending time cooking, working with her plants, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Darla will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Imogene Wallace.
She is survived by her children, Joe Langston, of Bridge City, Monica Langston, of Austin, Jacob Wright, of West Orange, Chad Langston and wife Amy, of Bridge City, and Brad Langston, of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Alexandra Biggs, Keaton Langston, Kaitlyn Langston, Jerzi Wright, Jacob Wright, Jr., Madison Langston, and Brandon Langston; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings, Darrel Wallace and wife Betty Kay and Marilyn Blum and husband Kent; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Sheba.
For those who wish, floral offerings will be accepted for the memorial gathering or memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas at 2050 Spindletop Ave, Beaumont, TX 77705.
