David Noel Allensworth of Warren, Texas, passed away on November 8th 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was loved and respected by so many.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Chaplain Dana Wheat. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
A visitation for David will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
David was born 82 years ago in Joiner, Arkansas. He was married to the love of his life, Mary Elder Allensworth for 67 years. David owned and operated H&H Hydraulics for over 40 years, only retiring a few years before his passing.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather known for his sense of humor. He was the rock of his family and made a friend in everyone he met.
David is survived by his son, Richard Allensworth and wife Julie of Orange; three daughters, Vickie Thibodeaux and husband Paul of Warren, Lisa Willis and husband Steve of Bridge City and Paige Griffin and husband Glenn of Warren; six grandsons, Chris and Josh Willis, Travis and Hunter Griffin, Jake Thibodeaux and Brandon Allensworth; one granddaughter, Alyssa Allensworth; as well as seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; along with brothers, George Allensworth, Sam Allensworth and John Allensworth; and sister, Betty Gonzales.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Allensworth and Elsie Caudle Gonzales.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Chris Willis, Josh Willis, Travis Griffin, Hunter Griffin, Jake Thibodeaux and Brandon Allensworth.
