Born in Nederland, Texas, on July 26, 1989, he was the son of Rick Dearing and Marla (Chandler) Dearing. Jake graduated from Bridge City High School Class of 2007. He served bravely in the United States Army for four years. He was an all-around wonderful family man, taking great pride in his children and always making the best of every situation at hand. Jake could often be found fishing, hunting, riding ATV’s, boating, and enjoying the outdoors. His smile could capture a room, and he was always the life of any party he entered, never meeting a stranger. Jake enjoyed life to the max and never took a second for granted. He loved spending time with his children and took great joy in seeing them grow. If it was broke, Jake could fix it. He was endlessly generous, giving all and more than he had to anyone who needed it. He enjoyed a good steak and a full crawfish boil. In his life cut too short, Jake made an impact on everyone he met and will be deeply missed and remembered in the hearts of all those who loved him.
