David Diehl, 78, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2018, in Orange.
Born in Albany, New York, on August 3, 1939, he was the son of Ernest Diehl and Irene Norton. David worked as a police officer for New York City. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, being a part of both the United States Army and the United States Navy. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
David is survived by his children, Duane Diehl, Diane Hensley, Clarence Diehl, Beth Baum, Pam Cotrill, and Sarah Colman; grandchildren, Curtis Mullins, Christopher Mullins, and David Duane Diebl; and his great-grandchildren, Dameon Mullins, Ravyn Mullins, and India Colman.
Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
