David Santana Rodriguez, Jr., 77, of Orange, passed away on September 8, 2019, at home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., September 14, 2019, Saturday, at Autumn Oaks Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Helotes, Texas, on November 26, 1941, he was the son of Santana Rodriguez and Corina Rosas. David proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a firefighter for the City of Orange for 20 years. David loved playing the guitar, singing, and playing checkers. He was a lover of sweets especially ice cream. David enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and was great provider for his wife. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gracie Rodriguez; parents, Santana and Corina Rodriguez; and sisters, Cecelia Algueseva, Ramona Morales, and Rosemary Falcon
He is survived by his children, Pamela Granger of Apollo, Pennsylvania, Kim Cooper and husband Prentice of Conroe, Texas, Craig Kinley and wife Lorraine of Jeanette, Pennsylvania, Margie Bailey and husband Gordon of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Lisa Ann Johnson; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and brothers, George Rodriguez and Samuel Rodriguez.
