David Jospeh Virva, 58, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2018, in Houston, Texas.
Born in Orange, Texas, on December 11, 1959, he was the son of Frank W. Virva, Sr. and Florence Ann (Verrett) Virva. David proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He later went on to work in construction for the chemical plants. David could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing in shuffle board tournaments several times a week. He was a thoughtful, unselfish man who always put others before himself. He had an abundance of love and concern for his children, especially his son, Dustin. David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Florence Virva; and his sister, Susan Anderson.
He is survived by his children, Shaun Michael Virva of Bridge City, Dustin Joseph Virva of Bridge City, and David Wayne Virva of Tennessee; his siblings, Frank W. Virva, Jr. and wife Glenda of Orange, John Virva of La Grange, and Nancy Stutes of Orange; his two grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
