David Keith Lute, 57, of Bridge City, died Sunday, January 24, 2010, following a seven year battle with diabetes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Born in Kansas City, Missouri on May 28, 1952, David was the son of Wallace and Opal Cox Lute. He served in The US Army during the Vietnam War and he was a shop manager for Tattoo Dreams in Bridge City.
He was preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by his daughter, Holly Lute of Bridge City; son, Michael Lute of Bridge City; sisters, Deborah McAbee of Bridge City and Denise Lage of Jerome, Idaho; brothers, Richard Lute of Beaumont and Terry Lute of Bridge City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
