David Wayne Vest, 41, of Orange, died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at his home.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Bradley, pastor of First Baptist Church in Orange.
Born in Houston on September 5, 1970, David was the son of Clyde and Mary Vest. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, listening to music and bow shooting.
David is survived by his parents, Clyde and Mary Vest of Splendora; daughter, Shelby Vest of Splendora; grandmothers, Thelma Ruston of Latexo, Leona Jones of Houston; brothers, Clay Vest of Splendora, Travis Vest of Houston; and friend, Mitch Dionne of Orange.
