Deauo Rail Livingston, 81, of Orange, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Deauo was born in McRae, Georgia on September 11, 1927. He was the son of Matthew Livingston and Minnie Mae Fordham Livingston. Deauo worked for Owens Illinois and Temple Inland for 41 years as a supervisor. He was an avid gardener and also loved to play golf at the D.E.R.A. Deauo and Mabel enjoyed traveling in their motor home especially to casinos.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Steve Livingston and Richard Livingston.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mabel Livingston of Orange; son, Roger Livingston; grandchildren, Aaron Livingston and Kourtne Aytes; three grandchildren; and brother, Perry Livingston.
