Debbie Keeney, age 53, passed away Sunday May 27, 2007 at her residence in Bridge City after a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Tuesday May 29 starting at 5:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited starting at 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated by Father Jim McClintock in her honor on Wednesday May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Henry?s Catholic Church.
Debbie was born to George and Benena Plattsmier on October 27, 1953. Debbie worked 30 years as a registered X-Ray technician. During her years of her employment she worked at Park Place Hospital, Dr. Jean Guy Wolfe?s family clinic, and Beaumont Industrial Park. She was a dedicated wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and loving sister whom always put family before herself.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents. She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law Debbie Keeney, and niece Tammy Roberts.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 33 years Cameron Jabo Keeney, son Jason Keeney, daughter Alicia and husband Roger Trahan and by her grandsons Ryan and Logan Trahan. She is also survived by her sisters Nancy and husband Sid Gillis, Gay and husband Chris Hebert and by her mother-in-law Rose Phillips, sisters-in-law Roxy and husband Steve Sparrow, Susie and husband Roland Dekard and bother-in-law, Jeff Keeney. Also surviving her are her two nephews and seven nieces.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Richards, Chris Moore, Chris Linscomb, Roger Trahan, Chris Hebert, Steve Sparrow, Jeff Keeney, and Jimmy Wactor.
