Born in Houston, Texas, on December 2, 1956, she was the daughter of Robert Lee Davis and Edna Margaret (Turner) Davis. Debbie was a talented pianist and enjoyed cooking and baking. She made the best Christmas cookies and chocolate covered pretzels. Debbie adored her grandchildren and cherished spending time with them. She was a faithful Christian, attending Winfree Baptist Church where she formed many lifelong friendships. Debbie was an incredible mom, gracing her children with her loving & silly presence. Her happy place was the beach, listening to the waves crash, soaking up the sun, and her family likes to think that’s where she’s spending the rest of her days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Edna Davis; and Clinton Wayne Roark.
She is survived by her children, Brian Winfree and wife Crystal of Orange, Jennifer Claybar and fiancé Terry Ashworth of Orange, and Emily Garcia and husband Eleazar of Orange; grandchildren, Alyssa Ardoin and husband Rick, Will Winfree, A.J. Williams, Walker Smith, Colton Smith, Santos Garcia, Akilles Garcia, Diego Garcia, Xavier Garcia, Eli Winfree, and Keller Claybar; and sisters, Lisa Chatalain and Vicky Caldwell and husband Danny.
Serving as pallbearers will be Will Winfree, Walker Smith, Colton Smith, Santos Garcia, Diego Garcia, Akilles Garcia, and Xavier Garcia.

Debbie and I worked together at Health and Human Services Commission in Orange. She was a very sweet person, quiet, and always had a smile. After retiring we would call each other and share what we were going through medically and what was going on with our former coworkers. Debbie loved her family and I pray God will comfort them at this time.
