Deborah Ann Berwick
Deborah Ann Berwick, 64, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 16, 2018, at Senior Care of West Oak in Austin, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Parish Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Dequincy, Louisiana, on January 30, 1954, she was the daughter of Katherine Andrews (Ozan). Deborah grew up in Starks, Louisiana and Orange, Texas. She lived the majority of her life in Orange and attended Lamar for real estate. A large part of her life was dedicated to Alter’s Gem Jewelry where she retired after many years of service as their office manager. She enjoyed cooking gumbo, baking, playing bingo, shopping, being pampered, reading, and traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a wonderful grandmother who adored her family. Deborah will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, William Thomas Berwick; and her mother, Katherine Andrews.
She is survived by her children, Stacy Berwick of Nederland, Texas, Paula Stout and her husband Adam of Bridge City, Texas, Jennifer Berwick of Bridge City, Texas, Kelly Granger and her husband Roland of Austin, Texas, and Phyllis Fregia and her husband Clint of Bridge City, Texas; and her grandchildren Matthew, Brady, Olivia, Aimee, Dax, and Anabelle.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Blanda, Roland Granger, Adam Stout, Jarrod Hooker, Clint Fregia, and Jody Scales.
