Delbert Crane

A Celebration of Life for Delbert Crane, 79, of Beaumont will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Pastor Brent Lambeth of Central City Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Delbert was born July 20, 1929 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Albert and Bernice "Chattie" Crane and passed away May 5, 2009 at Harbor Hospice. A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Delbert was a retired independent distributor with Little Debbie Cakes and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine; sister, Lola Dominick and brother, Truman Ray Crane.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Smith of Beaumont; two grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Savoie, Sr. and wife, Melody of Houston, Robert Dale Chipman of Houston; one great-grandchild, Brandon Wayne Savoie, Jr. of Houston; two sisters, Opal B. Lyons and husband, R.J. of Vidor, Dorothy Cleo Crawford of Vidor; and one brother, Larry Crane and wife, Janie of Kirbeyville.
