Delores Ann Bertrand, 68, of Orange, passed away on March 30, 2022, in Orange.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange with burial to follow.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Orange, Texas, on September 6, 1953, she was the daughter of Edward Vassar and Linda (Black) Vassar. Delores graduated from Bridge City High School. She loved bowling and playing various games, especially Pokeno. Her favorite color was orange and she adored pigs and loved Elvis. Delores was a loving wife, sister, mother and Mawmaw. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Shnery “Cho” Bertrand; sister, Patricia Hantz of Vinton, Louisiana; sons, Anthony Schlicher of Vinton, Louisiana, Robert Schlicher and wife Tiffany of Orangefield; daughter, Misty Roberts and husband Chad of Mauriceville, Elizabeth Bertrand of Orange, Mindy Bertrand of Orange, Shanna Ardoin and husband Joseph of Orangefield; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two loving sisters-in-law; and countless nieces, nephews and cousins that she kept close to her heart.

Serving as pallbearers will be Freddy Guerra, Chase Miller, Aubrey Marcantel, Joseph Ardoin, Lathan Schlicher, Anthony Schlicher.
