Delores Crawford Bundick, nicknamed by her siblings as Dot, 91, passed away at her home surrounded by her family. She was greeted in Heaven by her Savior, her husband Shelby William Bundick, daughter-in-law Norma Bundick, son-in-law Mike Kamp and a host of family and friends. Dot was born in Fannett, TX to Albert Lindsey and Ida Carr Crawford on April 26, 1932. On November 11, 1950, she married Shelby, and their 60-year union lasted until his passing.
Dot was a true Proverbs 31 woman, who was faithful to spend time with Jesus every morning in prayer, reading her bible, and devotional of the day. Those who knew her were blessed by her kind, loving heart and words of wisdom, as well as her DIY instructions on how to quilt, sew, can, or make one of her favorite recipes. She is famously known for her Nonnie’s Trash and hot, hot sauce. She was an amazing housewife, unbelievable cook, expert seamstress, and an all-around phenomenal woman. Her love for others flowed freely and her heart was open to all. Her last words of advice to one of the grandchildren was “live your life for others so that you can be a blessing to someone who’s never been blessed before”.
She is survived by her children Hermie (Patsy) of Beaumont, Jeffery (Lydia) of Warren, Jada Kamp of Beaumont, and Karen Glidden (Keith) of Beaumont and a child she loved as her own--Michelle Theriac (Mark) of Beaumont. She has 10 grandchildren--Jason (Monica), Leah Droddy (Rob), Sara Woodside, Jacob (Shan), Justin (Josh), Michael, Madison, Mikayla, Kolin (Gaby), and Kevin. Her grandchildren by love are Monique Ortiz (Jay), Lali Stanley, Candace (Seth), Elyse, Benjamin (Brettney), Josh, Jennifer (Francis), Larissa, Andrew (Faith), and Kristen Theriac, Courtney Priess (Alexa) and Blake Chaney. Great-grandchildren are Gabriel and Brayden Bundick, Raegan and Trey Droddy, Skylar Kirk (Cam), Landon and Austin Woodside, Noah Chaney, one Kamp great-grandchild on the way and Charlotte Glidden. Great-grandchildren by love include Alexandra and Logan Ortiz, Jade and Evan Stanley, Madelyn and Kinsley Lipko, Asher and Emerson Theriac, Keli and Jayce Konu. She will also be missed by her special friend Glenda Manual and a host of nieces and nephews.
Carrying their Nonnie to her final resting place will be her grandsons--Jason Bundick, Jacob Bundick, Justin Bundick, Michael Kamp, Madison Kamp, Kolin Glidden and Kevin Glidden.
