Delores “Aunt Dee” Fusilier, 80, of Vidor, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Vidor Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Chaplain Mark Adams. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Delores also known as “Aunt Dee” to many, was the daughter of Riley W. Ashworth and Beatrice R. (Willis) Ashworth. She was born in Louisiana but moved to Texas in her early twenty’s. Delores lived in Orangefield for 46 long years, before tragically losing her home to a fire. She then moved to Vidor to be by her nephew Terry Marcantel. Delores cherished her family very much and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Adam “Speedy” Fusilier; children, Rose Marcantel and Lynn W. Marcantel Jr.; siblings, Vera Evelyn Faulk, Robert W. Ashworth, and Buddy Allen Ashworth.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Manuel and husband Gary; grandchildren, Jeremy Manuel and wife Kari and Jennifer Little and husband Josh; 6 great grandchildren, all of Louisiana; siblings, Maxine Shields of Houston, Doris Ramirez and husband Bob of Buckholts, Texas, Gary Ashworth, Ricky Ashworth and Rodney Ashworth all of Bartlett, Texas; special nephew, Terry Marcantel of Vidor; and many other nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Manuel, Joshua Little, Henry Larocca, Allan Morel, Peter Marcantel, and Ronnie Ledoux. Honorary pallbearer Gary Manuel.
