Delores “Nana” Ann Perry, 65, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas, surrounded by her family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
Born in Pasadena, Texas, on December 11, 1953, she was the daughter of Donald Charles Pengelley and Jacquelyn Cuyle (Rumrey) Pengelley. She was a 1972 graduate of Little Cypress- Mauriceville. Delores recently spent over 10 years as a Medical Assistant for Orange Clinical Associates. She had a green thumb, was very crafty, and loved going to the casino and taking naps on the boat. She enjoyed spending time visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delores loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Jacquelyn Pengelley; her parents-in-law, Wilbur and Hattie Perry; and her sister, Lynn Wilson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Bruce Perry; children, Bruce “B.J.” Wynne Perry, Jr., of Orange and Lori Nash and husband Will, of Vidor; grandchildren, Bryce Perry and fiancé Shelbie, Jayce Perry, Lindi Perry, and their mother, Angie Perry, all of Orange, Blake Eatman and wife Heather, and Ashton Eatman, of Orange; great-grandchildren, Brinley, Bexley, Becklynn, Jackson, Zelleigh, and arriving soon, Nixxon; sister, Cindy Thomas and husband Glenn, of Mauriceville; and her brother-in-law, Mike Wilson, of Mauriceville, and Ronnie Perry and wife Carol, of Sour Lake.
