Delton Paul Fuselier, 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2019, in Orange.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Brother Dale Lee of Cowboy Church of Orange County. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Born in Mamou, Louisiana, on June 2, 1935, he was the son of Regiel Fuselier and Edmay (Brown) Fuselier. Delton worked as a welder for Bethlehem Steel for many years before retiring. He had a passion for cooking and spending time with his family. Delton will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alverdie Marie Fuselier; and his parents, Regiel and Edmay Fuselier.
He is survived by his children, Delwin Fuselier of Manifest, Louisiana, Tommy Fuselier and daughter-in-law Sonya of Orange, and Michael James Fuselier and daughter-in-law Dana M. Bergeron of Orange; his grandchildren, Curtis Fuselier, Richard Fuselier, Eric Fuselier, Whitney Fuselier, Bryant Fuselier and wife Leann, Nathan Fuselier and wife Laykin, Maisie Fuselier, Dylan Fuselier, Tyler Fuselier, Clara Fuselier, and Brayden Fuselier; step-grandchildren, Breanna Hammonds, Brett Hammonds, Brannen Hammonds and wife Hannah; his great-grandchildren, Branson Fuselier, Landry Fuselier, Lillian Fuselier, and Laila Fuselier; his step-great-grandchild, Gracelyn Hammonds; and his sister, Clarice Fontenot.
