Denise Yvonne Broussard

Denise Yvonne Broussard, 71, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2024, in Orange, Texas. 

A Memorial Mass will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2024, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Antony Paulose of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas, with a Rosary service taking place at 7:30 p.m.

Born in Houston, Texas, on May 23, 1953, she was the daughter of Floyd Edward Golemon and Nancy Kathryn Lambeth. Denise had the biggest heart in Texas and a kind and selfless nature. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friends who will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Broussard; parents, Floyd and Nancy Golemon; and brothers, Edward Golemon and Jesse Golemon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Danneal Broussard, Emerald La Rocca, and Christy Broussard; the wedding gifts she gained in her marriage, Butch Broussard, Debbie Helton, and Wade Broussard; grandchildren, Amanda, Kayleigh, Anthony, Nicole, Jarred, and Gabrielle; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Kinzlee; sisters, Mary Kimbrough and Laura Lessman; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and family.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
